The Multicultural Club Book Discussion Group

The Book Discussion Group meeting time: 4pm on Thursday, Oct. 27 Location: LC 206

This is our first meeting of a series to talk about the book Tao Te Ching and explore Tai Chi Quan, an ancient Chinese "soft" martial art practiced for its health-giving and spiritual benefits.
Tao Te Ching is regarded as the bible of Taoism and is the classic manual on the art of living.
Tai Chi Chuan is considered to be a physical expression and manifestation of the principles and philosophy of Taoism.

Multicultural Club Book Discussion Group

The Multicultural Club Book Discussion Group provides a platform for students  to engage in discussion activities that will enable you to share thoughts, make friends, and learn teamwork skills. The Book Club participants are assigned an inspiring book to read (or selected chapters, or speeches) and then discuss its meanings with your peers and offer your insights. The club will meet once every 3-4 weeks during the semester in the Learning Common.
